1 Peter 2:4-5 (KJV)
To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Correct question - Who (not what) is church? 正确的问题—谁（不是什么）是教会？

Noone can lay any foundation other than what the one that has been laid, that foundation is Jesus Christ.

The Lord dwells among His People. His tabernacle is with us.

Who is Church?

Church is God's IDEA. God and Church cannot be separated.

The Idea 

IDEA - Rests on Jesus Christ, our foundation.

The Practice

PRACTICE - Behaves in a communal manner.


Romans 12:1-21

 a) “Holy priesthood” - Serve “神圣的祭司”—事奉
The first expression to be in communal is to serve God and one another.


 b) “Offer spiritual sacrifices” - Sacrificial serving “供属灵的献祭”—委身的事奉
